Where Stories of Faith, Family & Healing Find a Voice

Meet the Author
Nairda Mack — the pen name of author Adrian McIntosh Jackson — was created to honor the part of her that writes with courage, faith, and spiritual clarity. Through this name, she gives voice to the experiences many are taught to silence, transforming pain into purpose and testimony into healing.
Growing up as the daughter of a mother with untreated schizophrenia, Adrian learned early what silence sounds like—and how heavy it can be to carry. For decades, she kept that part of her life tucked away, unsure of how to speak its truth without reopening old wounds. Writing became the place where she reclaimed her story, piece by piece.
Her debut memoir, The Quiet Inheritance, is a testament to endurance, faith, and the courage it takes to rewrite the narrative handed to you. It speaks to the child she once was, the woman she became, and the daughter she is still learning to be.
Adrian is also a mother, caregiver, community advocate, and creative professional with a passion for helping others find their voice. She believes healing is both personal and communal—and that every story has a purpose.
Whether writing memoir or children’s literature, Nairda Mack tells stories that help people feel seen, and free.
